Mexico –This moderately full-bodied gold 1800 Tequila Reposado is smooth with butterscotch, vanilla and toasted coconut flavors. The oak barrel aging process allows for a sweet then dry well rounded finish. 1800 Tequila Reposado is aged (rested) in French and American oak barrels and is made from 100% agave- which is unusual for this this price-most of the tequila you find at this price (and certainly below) is NOT 100% agave but blended tequila- the stuff that all those college tequila stories are made of. Other versions are the 1800 Silver and 1800 Anejo.

Appearance: Light straw colored, leaves even coat on swirling.

First Impression: Not overly aromatic, sea salt and slightly antiseptic smell.
