Fresh aromas of red cherry, earth and a whiff of forest floor character. The colour is dark red. The succulent, rich and slightly more concentrated medium weight flavors possess slightly better depth.

Domaine Tortochot is wine producer based in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin.The domaine specializes in wines from the Pinot Noir grape variety and is most recognized for its three premier cru wines produced from the renowned Lavaux-Saint-Jacques and Champeaux Premier Cru vineyards in Gevrey, as well as the Aux Charmes Premier Cru climat in Morey-Saint-Denis. Domaine Tortochot’s wine portfolio also comprises four grand cru wines sourced from plots in the Le Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Mazis-Chambertin and Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru vineyards. The Tortochot family has a viticultural history in Gevrey-Chambertin that goes back four generations. This started in the 19th Century with the vigneron Paul Tortochot. The Tortochots became connected with the notable Liébaut family from Morey-Saint-Denis when Paul’s son Félix married Louise Liébaut, who aded her family’s vineyards in the village to the Tortochot holdings.
