Producer Information
The Prieuré Roch estate was created in 1988 by Henry-Frédéric Roch, grandson of Henry Leroy, the famous founder of Maison Leroy . This prestigious estate has a history closely linked to that of the Domaine de la Romanée Conti since it has been co-managed since 1992 with its current administrator Aubert De Villaine.
Extending over an area of 14 ha, and mainly producing wines under the Nuits Saint Georges appellation , the wines of Prieuré Roch are real jewels resulting from a singular vinification by passionate men from the most noble winegrower families. of Burgundy. Indeed, the wines of Domaine Prieuré Rochhave the particularity of being produced with lower yields than those usually practiced in the Nuits Saint-Georges appellation and are produced in compliance with the rules of organic viticulture.
The estate also has a monopoly on the Clos des Corvées parcel, producing 9,000 bottles a year of exceptional quality and great finesse, giving them unprecedented rarity and value throughout the world.
