Ardbeg 10 Year Old & Uigeadail Mini Gift Pack Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Tarry ropes, smoked fish and peat. Smoky fruits, lemon and lime.
Palate: Oily and smoky peat with hints of liquorice and cracked black pepper.
Finish: Long with deep smoke and a suggestion of toasted almonds.
Distillery Information
Ardbeg Distillery, which is situated on the southern coast of Islay, was founded in 1815 by the MacDougall family. Once the peated barley arrives at the distillery, it is milled and mashed with water sourced from Loch Uigeadail, which is situated approximately 3 miles away from the distillery.
