Belgrove grows its own grains to make its whisky, and even uses biofuel, which is cooking oil from a nearby roadhouse, to fire the still! This expression here is a 4 year old rye, with smoky spices and fruity brightness galore. Also, the label features a rather well-known chef, who happened to visit the distillery…Batch 1 is a release of 340 bottles.‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Nose: Grilled peaches and pineapples, smoky paprika, black pepper, a touch of waxy orange peel.

Palate: Honeyed cereal juxtaposed by toasty oak, with layers of smoke and brown sugar.

Finish: A hint of fiery cinnamon remains on the finish.
