Soft stone fruits, sweet malted barley, a robust and almost mealy mouthfeel, followed by peat smoke that lands on the sweeter side rather than the phenolic side. It’s more like campfire smoke than an Islay bog, which creates a lovely balance between the vanilla imparted from the ex-Bourbon casks used for maturation.
