Description
Boot Hill takes their Bourbon new make and ages it in a variety of barrels, both new and used for six to 12 months. The barrels are then blended to create a whiskey with a taste of the Wild West.
Red Eye could be considered an “entry level” whiskey; at 80 proof, the novice drinker would find it approachable as a sipping whiskey. To the more experienced, it boasts an impressive depth with nuanced flavors that belie its youth. The perfect example that a whiskey does not have to be long-aged to be easily drinkable.
On the nose are prominent notes of sweet butterscotch with a delicate floral finish.
80 Proof – 40% ABV
