Hailing from Richmond, California–close to the San Francisco Bay–Spiritus seeks to take advantage of the Golden State’s diverse and abundant supply of natural produce. These ingredients are painstakingly distilled — sometimes individually — and married together to allow them a clear voice over the base of non-GMO grain spirit. Perhaps most intriguing, the high-proof distillate is cut with a solution of fresh Sierra Nevada mountain-range spring water and aromatic Persian cucumbers.

Botanica Spiritus Gin Tasting Notes

Nose: This is a firmly modern-style gin with juniper having a very lightly detectable presence.

Palate: The spirit combines very bright, citrus fruit flavors, earthy tea and cardamom, and, of course, the cool, refreshing tones of cucumber.

Finish: Zesty and spicy.

Falcon Spirits Distillery is located in Richmond, California founded by Farid Dormishiam. Iranian by birth but College-educated in California (Berkeley) he uses his background as biochemist, vintner, distiller, and bartender to inform his spirits.
