Described as premium quality rum, Butterfly Cane is matured in oak barrels for 3 years, and is distilled and blended to 37.5%. It is rounded with creamy vanilla and spice rounded off by a sweetly honeyed finish.

Butterfly Cane rum is inspired by nature, and more specifically, the pure cane sugar grown in Trinidad that is harvested after the ‘Scarlet Peacock’ has landed on the crop and fed off its ripe sap. For those not as cultured as I (ahem), the ‘Scarlet Peacock’ is a local term for the native species of butterfly, and only once they gather is the crop harvested to make rum.
