Description
The name Lacryma Christi comes from an old legend; Lucifer stole a piece of paradise to generate the gulf of naples so Jesus cried and where poured his tears, the soil became fertile generating the grapes used fro ‘Lacryma Christi’ that in English means ‘tears of Christ’. This wine is made from piedrosso and aglianico grown in the Vesuvian area on volcanic and sandy soil.
Fresh aromas of red fruit fragrances, including strawberry and raspberry, with underlying spicy notes. The palate is fruity, refreshing, and pleasantly textured, with soft tannins.
