Description
Clase Azul Mezcal San Luis Potosí is made from green agave (Agave salmiana),
a variety of agave native to the semi-desert slopes and plains of San Luis Potosí.
In its natural environment, the plant is considered mature at around 12 years of age,
when it reaches a height of almost five feet. Its growth and rate of maturity depend
on factors such as temperature, soil composition and the availability of water.

Decanter
The decanter made for this edition is inspired by the history of the Huachichil
people, a nomadic tribe that roamedacross the desert of San Luis Potosí inCentral Mexico. The red color of theceramic alludes to the name of thesepeople, which means “red-painted heads.”
The carvings on the base of the decanterare symbols of its stories: the vast desert andmountains that make up its territory, greenagave leaves typical of the region and thered finch which is of great significance to theHuachichil people.
