Part of the Auld Distiller’s Collection from Jack Wiebers, this 11-year-old single malt was made by Croftengea in 2007 and aged in a single bourbon cask until it was bottled in 2018. A sweet and smoky whisky, it has notes of lemon, red berries, honey, summer flowers and peat smoke throughout the palate.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.

Palate: A sweet and smoky whisky, it has notes of lemon, red berries, honey, summer flowers and peat smoke throughout the palate.

Finish: Finish is very long and smooth.

Distillery Information

Loch Lomond Distillery was commissioned by the Littlemill Distilling Company in 1964 with first distillation in 1966. In 1984, the distillery closed – or fell silent, to use the traditional term. Happily though, Alexander Bulloch and the Glen Catrine company acquired the business and resumed malt production in 1987. Grain whisky production began in 1993 and two new malt stills were added in 1999.
