Rum: Dictador XO Solera Perpetual

Dictador XO Perpetual Solera System Rum is made from the fermentation of unique virgin sugar cane honey, distilled in an antique alembic copper still, then aged in the highest quality pre-used oak barrels from ex-bourbon.

Finally, we use our family’s traditional Solera System method which our master blender conceives with all his skills and senses. The result is the most exquisite blend using only the finest barrels from eachvintage year, approved for bottling under the highest quality control

A premium Columbian Solera rum from Dictador, complete with their European design and Japanese bottles. This XO release is aged in the finest oak casks and brought down to 40% abv with demineralised water.

Dictador XO Solera Perpetual Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: Aroma of butterscotch, toffee, espresso beans and milk chocolate.

Palate: Notes of tropical fruits and citrus.

Finish: Long and complex, with sweet notes of caramel and vanilla mingled against spicy touches of pepper and oak.

Destilería Colombiana, based in Colombia, has been distilling high quality Rum for more than a century. Only recently though, they’ve stepped away from blends and started developing their own private label – Dictador Rum.
