Linkwood 17 years 2008 – 2025 #303302 for Craft Spirits Company

This special single cask bottling was selected by Craft Spirits together with Berry Bros & Rudd to celebrate their third anniversary. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2025 at cask strength of 53.4%, this Linkwood matured initially in a hogshead before receiving a Pedro Ximénez finish. Only 262 bottles were released. The result is an elegant Speyside whisky where Linkwood’s refined character meets the rich, sweet depth of PX influence — a perfect union of grace and indulgence.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Lush and fruity with aromas of raisins, dates and honey, followed by orange zest, toffee and vanilla. Gentle floral hints and Linkwood’s trademark malt character shine through, while the PX finish adds layers of caramel and soft spice in perfect balance.

Palate

Full-bodied and velvety with juicy notes of figs, plums and caramel, complemented by honeyed malt and a touch of spice. The 53.4% ABV provides energy and intensity without sharpness. As it opens, flavours of milk chocolate, walnut and orange emerge, adding richness and complexity.

Finish

Long and warming with lingering notes of honey, raisins, oak and gentle spice. A refined, sweet-dry finish with a lovely fruity sherry accent.
