If you’re able to recall the 2018 season of Masterchef The Professionals, then you may well remember Dean Banks, the Scottish finalist! He’s now forayed into the world of spirits with his very own Lunun Gin. The botanicals have been inspired by his culinary travels, showcasing mukrat lime leaf, sea buckthorn, Sichuan pepper, kombu kelp, ginger and lemongrass, distilled in his hometown of Arbroath in Angus. The gin takes its name from Lunan Bay over in Montrose, and you’ll be pleased to know the packaging is totally plastic-free!

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
