Planteray ‘3 Star’ Light Rum is a refined blend that pays homage to the classic Caribbean rums of the past. The rum is a harmonious mix of distillates from three distinct terroirs: Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad. Crafted from molasses, Planteray ‘3 Star’ Rum is a combination of both aged and unaged rums, expertly blended to create a smooth yet complex flavor. The Barbados and Trinidad rums are fermented for 72 hours, while the Jamaican rum undergoes a longer fermentation period of two weeks, contributing to its distinctive character. The rum is distilled using a variety of stills, with twin column and pot stills used in Barbados, a pot still in Jamaica, and a column still in Trinidad, all enhancing the rum’s complexity.
