Distilled at the now-closed Rosebank distillery in the Lowlands, this release is the sixth bottling in Elixir Distillers’ 7-part Roses Series which is released annually on Valentine’s Day and is named after different roses which are chosen in relation to the character of the liquid. Using some of the last known casks available, this expression has spent a little over two decades in a combination of ex-Maderia and bourbon barrels. There were just 840 bottles produced at a strength of 52.7% abv.

Distillery Information

The Rosebank distillery is situated in Camelon on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Its name originated after the roses which grew along the banks of the canal.
