Distillery Information

Savage & Cooke distillery is located on Mare Island, near the city of Vallejo, was created by prolific winemaker Phinney. Phinney began distilling spirits in 2014, which led to the new Savage & Cooke distillery venture.

Savage & Cooke produces Second Glance American Whiskey, The Burning Chair Bourbon, and Lip Service Rye, and Bad Sweater Whiskey all aged in Phinney’s wine casks with water and grains from Phinney’s property.
