Established in 1830 by the MacAskill brothers, Talisker has gone through many transformations over its nearly 200 years of production, but one thing that hasn?t changed is the consistency of the whisky that Talisker produces.
Talisker 30 Year Single Malt Whiskyÿis a rare cask-strength expression and is non-colored and non-chill filtered. Talisker 30YO Tasting Notes:ÿ
Color:ÿFull gold.
Aroma: Mild and unusually fruity, fading quickly into lush seaweed with charred sticks. Becoming soft and very slightly waxy or creamy, like fudge.
Mouthfeel:ÿMedium-bodied and viscous with long legs.
Palate: The smoke is immediate and dry with creamy oak. Almond milk and light, sweet stone fruits emerge, joined by a trace of salt.
Finish: Long, gently warming, with a lingering maritime aftertaste and just a white pepper tingle on the tongue in place of that chilli ?catch’.
