Description

Open aromas of spice, red fruit and herbs lead to a rich, ripe, generous palate that mixes the raspberry fruit and warmth of Grenache with the focus and peppery perfume of Syrah. The two grapes have (in our opinion) been absolutely perfectly blended. What an example of Vacqueras this is!

Back in 1896, a family called Roux acquired the Chateau du Trignon, and began the laborious process of converting the estate from mixed farming to viticulture. Five generations have since helped establish it as one of the top producers in the Southern Rhone. In 2007, the estate was bought by the Quiot family, themselves Rhone winegrowers for over 250 years.
