Description

Wire Works Single Malt English Whisky First release was released in February 2022 and is an individually numbered release of 5016 bottles with an ABV of 50.3%. The whisky has been matured in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon and shaved, toasted and recharred red wines casks, although the precise proportion has not yet been divulged. In addition, no colouring is added and no chill-filtration takes place. It’s made from a combination of both unpeated and peated malt, and benefits from a slow four-day fermentation and the use of fresh, live yeast from a local Derbyshire brewery to create a unique spirit profile.
